You just never know WHAT Fred or Wayne
could encounter on a beach dive!
Apr. 15, 2003: The Three D,
an 80-foot luxury yacht, ended up aground on the beach at John U. Lloyd
State Park in Hollywood early Monday morning after the skipper fell asleep.
Taking it easy and enjoying herself and all the excitement was Martha Maurer,
of nearby Dania Beach, who walks the beach most mornings. (Sun-Sentinel/Lou

Save lots of money using this 1951 classic
Chevy for a dive boat...no need to pay for boat ramp fees OR parking!
Oh, and no need to take heavy tanks out of a car and carry them to the
boat!
Cuban migrants using a 1951
Chevy flatbed truck turned into a raft in an attempt to cross the straits
to Florida on July 16. (GREGORY WALD/U.S. COAST GUARD) |

Why we all moved to Florida.
He writes, "How is this for a cold weather dive? Temp 22 degrees wind 25
kts snow depth 16" (Wilbur Utah). Highway 15 closed due to power line down
across road brought down by ice. We got stuck for an hour in a blizzard
and made a U-turn at one of those "for officials only" turn places.
We went back the other way, got off 15 in Wilbur, gassed up and there it
was...Aquatic Adventure dive store. I had to take a picture! I wonder
if they rent 2" wet suits?" |

The only way Marc Cohen will watch a movie.

A British deep sea diver has become the first man in the country to watch
a DVD while fully submerged underwater. Lloyd Scott donned an antique
diving suit to watch Finding Nemo on an 8ft x 6ft acrylic screen in the
Atlantic Tank of the London Aquarium. |
