Hey, Captain Chris, you missed my Bday - but I didn't. I spent it diving on
JeJu Island, S Korea. The reason you all haven't seen me is I was sent
on short notice for a one year tour in Korea. I left my dive buddy and
family in Florida, hoping I will get reassigned there when I return.
Anyway, I dove with Big Blue 33
http://www.bigblue33.co.kr/ .
A German dive operator in Korea - quite different from the S Florida
experience. A two tank dive took most of the day. Show up at the
shop at a leisurely 9 o'clock, load the boat and get underway by around 10.
Short ride to the dive site and gear up. In the water by, say 1030,
then lunch upon surfacing and getting out of your gear. Move to a new
site and back in the water after say 1-130, then back to the dock and shop
by 3 pm. It was certainly relaxing. No rush, no cattle boat.
Anyway, the reason I decided to write was I found this other site while
surfing for some disaster relief information. I typed in OFDA (Office of
Foreign Disaster Assistance) and look what came up!

I bet there are more than a few in our club who would qualify for this
card (Not me btw!) Anyway say hi to the gang. Hope to be back
next summer.
